Located on a sloping plot, the Allegra Residence is characterized by its impressive integration with its surroundings and its functional design, reflecting all the sophistication that the luxury market has to offer. Jaime Salvá’s architectural firm has completed this project in one of the most exclusive areas of Calvià, Mallorca. Commissioned by a German couple who acquired the plot as a real estate investment, Allegra is designed for sale in the competitive luxury housing sector.
A fusion of modernity and natural landscape

Built on a 2,000 m² plot, the home combines modernity and elegance while respecting the natural topography of the land. This approach characterizes Salvá’s work, which constantly seeks to balance contemporary design and sustainability, creating architecture in complete harmony with the Mallorcan landscape. From the outset, Salvá’s team faced the challenge of designing on a steeply sloping site, achieving a solution that optimizes both aesthetics and functionality. In this sense, the project reminds us of Binifaldó, another on-site challenge that the Mallorcan architect successfully resolved. In Allegra’s case, the topographical limitations and the proximity of neighboring homes required a creative approach, resulting in a house designed to maximize the available space, enhancing the living experience of its future residents.
Design oriented toward comfort and privacy

The home’s south-facing orientation ensures abundant natural light, while its L-shaped layout envelops the exterior landscape, generating a sense of privacy without losing the visual connection with the surroundings. The result is a warm, welcoming, and highly efficient environment.
Functional architecture on three levels

Distributed over three levels, the residence optimizes each space to meet the needs of its occupants. On the ground floor, a double-height entrance hall welcomes you into an open space that connects the main social areas. On one side, the dining room and an open-concept kitchen promote family conviviality; on the other, the living room, divided into two zones, is ideal for both relaxation and entertaining. This level also includes a bedroom with an en suite bathroom, designed to provide privacy for guests.

On the upper level, the spaces become more intimate. The master bedroom features a private terrace and an outdoor shower, along with a large dressing room. Four other bedrooms, all with en suite bathrooms, complete this floor, ensuring comfort and privacy for each family member or guest. The basement houses a garage, a wine cellar, storage rooms, and a multifunctional space adaptable to the buyer’s needs.
Local materials pay homage to Mallorca

Allegra’s choice of materials pays true homage to the island. The façade incorporates dry stone from Santanyí, a characteristic element of Mallorcan architecture that provides texture and durability. This material is combined with engineered wood from Tarimatec, creating an elegant contrast between traditional and contemporary. Large-format flooring, imitating natural stone, extends from the interior to the pool, creating a sense of visual continuity that reinforces the design cohesion. In the private spaces on the upper floor, vinyl flooring imitating oak wood was chosen, adding warmth and durability.
Architectural design that unites aesthetics and functionality

Allegra is a clear example of how architecture can harmoniously combine form and functionality. Every detail has been carefully designed to enhance the daily lives of its future residents, transforming the home into a true luxury retreat, while maintaining practicality. The layout and distribution of the spaces not only respond to the demands of the luxury real estate market but also consider sustainability and long-term maintenance.
A project noted for its impeccable execution

The project lasted 24 months and was carried out by Building More under the direction of Iván Cazorla, while the technical direction was provided by architect Jaime Salvá. The project was supervised by technical architect Iñaki Fernández of Coco Ingenieros, ensuring exhaustive quality control at every stage of construction.
