Bang & Olufsen has just unveiled the Atelier Art Deco Limited Edition, a tribute to the aesthetics that defined the 1920s and commemorates the 100th anniversary of the brand’s founding. This exclusive sound system gives a new definition to the famous Beolab 28 speakers and the Beovision Theatre, combining the precision of their geometry with the exquisiteness of Art Deco and the technical craftsmanship of contemporary masters.
Innovative sound system inspired by history

“This edition is a tribute to our origins and our history,” said Kristian Teär, CEO of Bang & Olufsen, during the presentation of the Atelier Art Deco Limited Edition. “It is a blend of design tradition and technical mastery, created to celebrate 100 years of innovation through a timeless form.”

Limited to just 100 units worldwide, this collection features high-quality materials such as dark rosewood and chestnut-anodized aluminum, highlighting the brand’s rich heritage of craftsmanship.
A timeless and elegant design

The system showcases tapered wood lamellar panels and straight aluminum that evoke the rhythmic facades of classic Art Deco architecture. It also includes a handcrafted rosewood case housing the exclusive Beoremote, finished in chestnut-colored aluminum and featuring certificates of authenticity. Each aluminum surface is engraved with precise geometric patterns that reflect the integration of modern machining with classical ornamentation. The engravings also include 100 lines that commemorate each year of Bang & Olufsen’s legacy.

This attention to detail can also be seen in the newly designed wooden top cover of the Beosound Theatre, sculpted with a radial pattern inspired by Art Deco sunburst motifs. In addition to its striking visual impact, this cover enhances acoustic transparency, reflecting Bang & Olufsen’s long-standing commitment to perfect harmony between form and function. The Beolab 28‘s floating acoustic lens, surrounded by a highly detailed radial ring, completes this system like a sculptural centerpiece.
A sound system that commands prestige

With a starting price of $65,000 (without a screen), the Atelier Art Deco Limited Edition already makes its exclusivity clear and will be available at select Bang & Olufsen stores. This launch offers collectors a functional work of art, created to endure beyond time.
